Melody was in high spirits. She was in her element. At one of the Bands of America competition, she felt completely happy. The air of apprehension filled the arena as band members milled around, killing time until their performance or until the awards ceremony came. She herself had already finished her run of the show along with all of her band mates, including her girlfriend. The entire band had done extremely well, playing music and spinning flags as strongly as they could. She knew that her band was not going to come in last in finals.
“So, what are you thinking about getting?” She asked the girl she was holding hands with.
“Would the accused like to say anything else before the verdict is given?” The judge turned his head to his right to look at the brunette before him. Melody stood up and looked dead on at the judge, a hint of fire and sadness in her eyes.
“I would, your honor,” Melody replied. “I would like to just one thing more.” Melody took a deep breath, held it for a second, and release all the air from her lungs as she closed her eyes. Opening them once more, Melody again looked at the judge, a calmer expression on her face. “One of my most vivid and special memories I have is when Lucile told me something very

A jolt of fear passed through the boy with blue eyes as the green eyed boy went slack and almost dropped his staff. However, he blew out a breath of relief, covering the glass with a thin layer of frost, when the boy regrasped the staff tightly. He watched as the other boy stood up and placed his staff in the corner of the room. The white-haired boy waited outside the window for some time before he deemed it safe to enter the room

The problem currently opposing her appeared fairly standard, but some piece of information, hidden among all of the variables and functions, hid itself from her.
